I'm falling way behind on these, I know. Life, and too much of it...

Anyway, I have a new article up on hubpages.com on how to choose a bad magickal name.

I have another hub published at www.hubpages.com on things that non-Pagans can give Pagans as gifts.

**********************

Watched the last 45 minutes or so of POTC:COBP last night on TV. I haven't seen the third movie yet, so I am reserving judgement, but so far the first one is still the best.

If this gets rid of the Harry Potter sex fanfic communities, I, for one, will have no complaints!

omg
A book I wrote is one step closer to being published. It still has one more committee approval to go,and, of course, they could very well say no. But if they don't, then that might be it (I'm not sure how this publisher works. Hell, I'm not sure how ANY publisher works).

I'm sitting here trying to remember how to breathe. And type.

Lord G, I pray that you remove all obstacles regarding me being a full-time writer.

I'm done! I'm done!

Grades will be posted on Monday. I may not have gotten all A's this semester.

Which isn't really a big deal, except it is. I feel like I'm inconveniencing so many people by going back to school -- my spouse, our daughter, my parents -- that anything less than an A means I'm just goofing off and not taking their sacrifice seriously, even when I know deep down in my heart that I *am* doing my best.

And I have 4 semesters left to go...

Sigh.

And as usual, I don't feel ready.

In lieu of studying, I have a rant up on hubpages.com. Should be interesting.

Tarot basics part 2 is up on hubpages.

I am so put of practice on cards it's not funny. Of course, it doesn't help that there's no one around here, really, to read for. And my spouse is better at it than I am.

that I can only input about two of those small town pagan surveys in a row before needing an extended break. Punctuation? What's that? Grammar? Huh? Spelllling?

It's gonna be a looooong summer.

Oh, and my kid has learned how to take her clothes off...ALL her clothes off...by herself. I don't think there were any puddles in the living room...

Got a new article up on hubpages.com. Took me forever to get it there, no thanks to annoyingly slow dial-up.

Anyway, it's on 5 ways to never join a coven. I hope it helps someone.

had a lovely lunch with my family. It's cold (well, cool) and rainy here today (HOORAY!!) and a warm lunch at the Chinese buffet was a real treat.

One final down, four to go. Yesterday's was -- hopefully -- the most tedious. I have one tomorrow, a take-home to do over the weekend, and then two big ones next week.

wow
There have been over 200 hits on the "ten things..." article in the last 24 hours.

Wow. Just wow.

I am humbled that people find it useful.

This weekend: more book reviews. Maybe a couple more articles. Dunno. Studying for a couple of early finals -- definitely.

Hmmm
I'm told my hubpage article on 10 things to do to get ready to join a coven has now hit A&J.

While I was sitting at home trying to do math homework and tune out Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

For some reason, I am amused. I hope they're saying good things!

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted. My bad :(

Well, here's hoping that Kenaz, the editor of New Witch, meant what he said when he posted on nonfluffy that he's looking for cutting edge stuff, because my review of Circle, Coven & Grove is positively scathing!!! I can't help it -- the author is an idiot who would have gotten her basic misconceptions smacked out of her in any basic 101 class. Ah, but she's probably never taken a basic 101 class! (as I point out in my review, snark, snark)

Now if Yahell mail were working this morning, I could get the review in.

Meanwhile, work on the small town Pagan book is on hold until this summer -- which I'm hoping will be nice and quiet...

I am considering asking the powers-that-be at hubpages.com to consider making me a paid author. I seem to be posting regularly enough.

p.s. I'm all a-squee about frauholla posting a link to one of my articles in wicca!

I'm sick and it's finals week.

But I finally heard back from the Pangaia editor: write a pan of the book, and they will either use it or not.

350 words on why I hate this book will probably make me feel better!

Turns out pangaia doesn't really want negative reviews.

I have emailed the editor to find out what the hell I'm supposed to do now.

At least I didn't actually write it yet.

Urk.
